Robotic plasma cutting is a relatively new technology that makes it possible to create spatial cuts in a large space of processing. In pipes, spheres, and other spatial objects where standard 2D plasma equipment is not feasible, but 5D plasma is relatively expensive, offering a small displacement in the vertical axis, which also determines the advantages of a robotic solution. It should be noted that the robotic cutting will not be as accurate as the CNC work tables, but for most tasks it will be technically and economically suitable as it will provide an unprecedented volume of processing that CNC machines cannot offer.
